Cosmetic Blem Sale!
Over the year we accumulated a stash of cosmetic blem jig’s. These jig’s ARE tested and fully functional, but they just have a bit of a blem to them which is always cosmetic, not function. Blem’s consist of slight deviations in the jig’s finish, small surface blem’s or similar. These jigs still come with our Limited Lifetime warranty against breaking, but naturally the cosmetic state is why they are being discounted.
Our custom laser engraving jigs are built to last a very long time. We have use these in our operation for quite some time now on 1000’s of magazines and other parts; they are still nearly as good as new.
Our jigs are printed on a 3D printer using quality PLA from reputable companies; we always use the same vendor for consistency. Each Jig has undergone testing to insure quality and fitment of each item specified in the design. Some are very specific to the product while others have more flexibility. PLA has the unique ability to not be impacted by fiber laser at the speeds in which are used, however if you made a mistake and had your laser on very low speed and very high power you will see a burn in the jig but it should not compromise the integrity of the jig. Other companies offer wood jigs which will burn under fiber laser and don’t account for contour’s so the parts aren’t perfectly level.
Our jigs feature:
* Corner holes on 25mm Centers
* Hole diameter for M6 screws
* Slots 6.25 x 44mm to allow precise placement or to accommodate non standard hole spacing
* Base plate size from 150mm to 200mm depending on the jig, most are 170mm.
* Rounded corners to prevent snagging and cosmetically look more refined
* Interior holes / slots for enhanced strength and weight savings.
* Laser jigs are larger size than others allowing for enhanced support brackets or larger working area’s
* 1mm thick walls and honeycomb interior for strength
* Custom fit for each product
* No choice of colors on jigs, we primarily use bright colors like yellow, orange, neon green etc but colors can vary depending on vendor being out of stock at the time of our order. If you require a specific color we will do this for a 3+ jig min order.
Due to long print times shipping COULD be delayed a bit longer than we’d both like, we will sacrifice quantity to achieve quality. Our designs vary in print time from 14 hours all the way to 24+ hours. Lazer Werkz has multiple 3D printers that we use in our operation, each one is the exact same so that our designs can be run on any printer, this allows us to use any printer we need to print any jig or template. We do our best to blend quality and speed but lean towards a quality and rigid print. As with any 3D print you will see some print “lines / layers” but they do not compromise the print, these jigs are built like a brick shit house, after all it’s all about function & durability, not being a beauty queen.
Our jigs are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. The warranty implies that if our jig fails, breaks or similar due to normal use we will replace it for free end of story. If the jig has failed due to neglect, abuse or misuse then it’s not covered by warranty.
